Northern Star marked its 10th year as an organization on January 27, 2022.  As we celebrate a decade of growth and excellence, we pledge to continue to shine bright in the years to come and be the guiding light in moving life forward.

NORTHERN STAR LAUNCHES NEW IDENTITY
Over the last 10 years, Northern Star Energy Corporation has grown rapidly from a relatively small petroleum marketer distributing fuel through 15 Caltex branded Service Stations to a group of companies that delivers energy products and related services as well as non-fuel convenience offers to general motorists, critical businesses, and essential industries across the Philippines.

To reflect what it is now and what it wants to be in the future, Northern Star, in celebration of its 10th Anniversary in 2022, is launching a new corporate identity that effectively communicates its mandate of helping move motorists, industries, and people’s lives forward.
NORTHERN STAR BAGS CHEVRON BRANDED MARKETER ELITE AWARD
Northern Star Energy Corporation was named Branded Marketer Elite of Chevron Philippines, Inc. (CPI) during the 2021 Branded Marketer Optimization Program (BMOP) virtual awarding ceremony on January 26, 2021. Read more here
A NEW STAR RISES IN PASIG CITY
Northern Star Retail opened its 4th Caltex service station in Pasig City on August 18, 2021. Caltex Pasig 4 Eusebio is the  71st service station in our network. Read more here.
MLBB DIAMONDS NOW AVAILABLE ON DIGIPAY
Digipay recently added Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (ML:BB) to its list of partner merchants. Digipay is available in all Northern Star Caltex Service Stations in Regions 1, 2, CAR, and select stations in Baler, Baguio, Zambales, Laguna, and Metro Manila.
2021 RETAIL GROUP RECAP
Our Retail Group ended 2021 with a virtual engagement program with the Northern Star Caltex Retailer Partners from across North Luzon and Metro Manila, Zambales, and Laguna on December 21, 2021. Highlights of the event include the announcement of the standing of all stations in several incentive programs, welcoming of new partners in the Northern Star Retail network, and the 2021 highlight video featuring the achievements and accomplishments of our Partners despite the challenges of the pandemic. Fun games and exciting prizes have also been given away. 
NORTHERN STAR X SHELL TECHSTREAM FOR COMPANIES IN THE TRANSPORT AND CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES
On October 28, 2021, a team of Shell experts shared key strategies to ensure the safety of people while optimizing our customers’ assets and reducing the total cost of ownership.

"Our fast-growing partnership with Shell in both fuels and lubricants is a strong testament to the mutual trust that we enjoy with the #1 global lubricants supplier.  We hope to bank on this partnership to take all of us beyond the uncertainties and new business realities ahead," says Stephen V. Tiongco, Northern Star's Deputy General Manager for Sales & Operations.  

A year later after we signed an agreement with Pilipinas Shell to become an official reseller of Shell Lubricants in Regions 1, 2, and CAR for B2B customers, Northern Star is now also the official distributor of Shell Motorcycle, Automobile, Truck, and Buses Lubricants in CAR and Region 2 with warehouses in San Fernando City,  La Union, Santiago City, Isabela, and Tuguegarao City in Cagayan. 
NSF OPERATES IN RIZAL
In October 2021, Northern Star Fuel Facilities Solutions, Inc. one of the wholly-owned subsidiaries of Northern Star Energy started its operations in the newly built fuel facility in Rizal Province. 

NSF, which specializes in 360-degree fuel facilities management, now serves five unique and critical industries across the country including power, mining, and retail service stations.

We are very excited to share our customer satisfaction ratings for 2021! As a company, we pledge to always strive to provide better service to our customers and partners. We would like to thank you for your continued trust and cooperation. The survey results will be used to work on items that require improvement.
A HELPING HAND FOR ILOCOS SUR
Sta. Maria, Ilocos Sur in North Luzon was devastated by Typhoon Maring in October 2021. Led by our Caltex Retailer and staff, our service station in Sta. Maria along McArthur Highway gave away food relief packs to its community as part of its 1st-anniversary celebration. 
STAYING ALIGNED, COMMITTED, AND MOTIVATED THROUGH THE ONGOING CRISIS
These past two years have been difficult for the oil and gas industry because of the fluctuating fuel demand caused by mobility restrictions. Our Management Committee Members – Retail Manager Domet Posecion, Supply Chain and GoPetrol Manager Eric Tan, CFO Romy Regaspi, and C&I Manager Booch shared their thoughts in this short video.
NORTHERN STAR EMPLOYEES STAY ENGAGED
Despite the challenges of the pandemic which started in 2020, the Northern Star team pushed on and continued to engage, inform, and keep our teams safe by implementing programs and staying connected through our monthly OneHR employee engagement activities. The program involved info-session, fun games, and other activities.
