SCSC DARONG IMPORT FACILITY BREAKS GROUND
Santa Cruz Storage Corporation (SCSC) – a joint venture of Northern Star Energy Corporation and DMC Construction and Equipment Resources Inc. (DMC-CERI) – broke ground for a new import facility in Santa Cruz, Darong, Davao Del Sur on April 22, 2022.
The Darong Import Facility will be designed, constructed, and operated by SCSC for Pilipinas Shell with an exclusive-use arrangement for a term contract with an option to extend. It has a rated capacity of 67 million liters of petroleum products, is targeted to be completed and fully operational by the third quarter of 2024.
The ceremony was led by Juan Miguel T. Delgado, COO of Northern Star Energy Corporation and SCSC; Romeo Regaspi, CFO of Northern Star Energy Corporation and SCSC; Sid Consunji, President of DMCI Holdings, Inc.; Das Reyes, President of DMC-CERI and SCSC; Kit Bermudez, Pilipinas Shell VP for Supply and Distribution; and Serge Bernal, Pilipinas Shell VP for Corporate Relations.
The event was also attended by executives from the local and national governments.

STELLAR REDEFINED IN NORTHERN STAR 2021 POLARIS VIRTUAL AWARDS CEREMONY

Northern Star Retailer Partners shone even brighter in the 2021 Polaris Virtual Awards held on June 8, 2022.
Northern Star Caltex service stations in Baler, Aurora; Roxas Isabela; and Bantay, Ilocos Sur bagged the Top 1, 2 and 3 Polaris Awards, respectively. They scored the highest cumulative scores in terms of fuel sales volume, customer service, facilities, and non-fuel sales performance. Each was awarded with cash and an all-expense-paid trip to Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu. Read more here.

Northern Star Retailers scooped 14 out of the Top 20 Branded Marketer Retailers spots in the 2021 Caltex Bayanihan Retailer Incentive program. BMR Gasoline Station in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur ranked Number 1 with multiple service stations under Northern Star partners GLEDCO and Bantay Star Petroleum Trading Corporation also in the Top 20. NORTHERN STAR AND SHELL COLLABORATE FOR TECHSTREAM 2.0

On April 7, 2022, a team of experts from the Transport and Construction industry discussed safety, cost-efficiency, and business sustainability in the new normal during Shell Techstream 2.0.
This is the third time that Northern Star and Pilipinas Shell collaborated for this online technology talk show. Stephen V. Tiongco, Northern Star’s General Manager for Sales and Operations delightfully welcomed the participants with his speech. “Northern Star Energy stays true to our motto of moving life forward by consistently providing the best products and excellent service to our customers,” he emphasized.
Northern Star is an official distributor of Shell Lubricants in Regions 1, 2, and CAR for B2B customers. We offer Shell Motorcycle, Automobile, Truck, and Buses Lubricants in CAR and Region 2 for B2C customers. Our warehouses are located in San Fernando City, La Union, Santiago City, Isabela, and Tuguegarao City in Cagayan.

NORTHERN STAR AND DIGIPAY LAUNCH DIGI-NEGOSYO CAMPAIGN
Northern Star and digital payments and financial services platform Digipay, virtually launched Digi-Negosyo on June 28, 2022. The new campaign is designed to expand the network of Northern Star’s Retailer-Partners by establishing Northern Star Service Stations as Cash-In and Cash-Out locations. And acquiring new agents and to market DigiPadala.
Digipay services are available in all Northern Star Service Stations in Regions 1, 2, CAR, and select stations in Baler, Baguio, Zambales, Laguna, and in Metro Manila.

GOPETROL LAUNCHES IDOL DRIVERS’ REWARD & RECOGNITION PROGRAM
GoPetrol Transport, Inc. simultaneously launched the IDOL Drivers’ Rewards and Recognition Program to its team members in La Union, Batangas City, and Palawan on June 22, 2022.
