GoPetrol Transport, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Northern Star, spoke about the importance of pollution control and waste management to Grade 6 students of San Agustin (Poro) Elementary School in San Fernando, La Union. Conducted last May 23, 2024, the activity was part of Sikap, Sulong, Tulong! (STS), NStar’s umbrella corporate social responsibility program.
GoPetrol also donated sturdy metal trash bins to the school and the local barangay, as a way of supporting a cleaner and greener community.
This STS activity reflects the vision of the NStar Group of a sustainable future, driven by informed and environmentally conscious young minds.

The energized momentum of the afternoon session carried on into the evening as the event transitioned into the highly anticipated 2023 Polaris Awards. The ceremony started with a warm welcome of new convenience Retailer-Partners into the Northern Star’s network. This was followed by the highlight of the event — honoring and celebrating outstanding achievements of Northern Star’s top-performing convenience Retailer-Partners based on their performance in 2023.
In the end, the Retailer-Partners acknowledged that they – no matter which brand they have on their sites — are part of the Northern Star team and that each other’s success is deeply intertwined. Everyone happily committed to the challenge of leveling up, of elevating, escalating, and excelling in order to fulfill the common mandate of moving lives forward.
The Northern Star Team gathered for a day of fun and collaboration in its first indoor team building held at Vivere Hotel in Alabang, Muntinlupa on May 10-11, 2024.

The games kicked off with a lively chant contest that showcased the Teams’ teamwork and wit. This was followed by more equally exciting challenges aimed at fostering camaraderie among Northern Star employees.
During his routine duties on April 29, 2024, Northern Star Fuel Facilities Solutions, Inc.’s (NSFFSI) Jiffrey Salire, a diligent Forecourt Service Champion of Northern Star Shell Makati 2, Estrella, noticed a bag left behind by a customer and promptly reported this to his Station Officer, Ms. Elvie Tenizo. The Service Station Team located the owner through IDs found in the bag which also contained cash and jewelry.
This immediate action prevented potential loss and distress for the owner and showcased how the NSFFSI staff upholds Integrity, one of Northern Star’s core values.

The 6.6KWp Solar PV Panels and 18.2kwh useable Lithium Battery Storage were supplied and installed by GO GRIDLESS Philippines Corporation, a Manila-based solar and energy solutions provider.

Northern Star Fuel Facilities Solutions Inc. (NSFFSI) was recognized for its contribution to the Five Million Safe Manhours Without a Lost Time Incident of ACEN Corporation during the latter’s safety milestone celebration on March 22, 2024 at Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales.
As of March 2024, the NSFFSI team has already achieved 61,731 safe man hours since the start of its operations in Pililla, Rizal in 2021.
