Northern Star Energy Corporation officially launched its 2026 Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Programs on April 17, 2026, marking another milestone in its ongoing mission to maintain the highest standards in workplace safety, health, and well-being across all operations. 

Chief Operating Officer, Juan Miguel T. Delgado delivered the opening remarks at the event themed “Moving Life Forward by Championing Safety​”.  He emphasized that “Growth should never come at the expense of safety. In fact, the stronger we become, the stronger our safety culture must be.” 

The OSH Program intends to create a zero-harm culture where every individual values safety as a personal and shared commitment. It also aims to build a proactive safety culture where every employee takes responsibility for protecting themselves, their co-workers, and others.​ 

“Moving life forward is not only about fueling industries or enabling progress. It is about protecting the lives behind every operation,” Delgado added.  

The program also signaled the rollout of the Care for Life (CFL) Principles, referenced from the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) Life-Saving Rules. This was followed by the Employee Commitment Signing, underscoring every employee’s commitment to actively uphold and champion safe work practices across all operations.

Safety remains at the forefront of Northern Star Energy Corporation following its consistent reinforcement of programs that drive a culture centered on awareness, accountability, and discipline. Pursuant to its Healthy, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) initiatives, the organization conducted back-to-back emergency drills and response training that made safety a shared responsibility. 

On April 7, NStar partnered with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) for a Fire Safety Seminar that further strengthened the employees’ knowledge of fire prevention measures, hazard identification, and evacuation procedures. The session was conducted both online and face-to-face, equipping the workforce with practical knowledge on fire-related incidents and proper use of firefighting equipment. 

The 1st Semi-Annual Fire and Earthquake Drill followed on April 16 and was held simultaneously across subsidiaries and operational sites. This critical response simulation was evaluated by BFP for the first time, ensuring improved employee preparedness and coordination during fire and seismic emergencies.

These exercises and activities reflect NStar’s sustained efforts to cultivate a workplace culture where safety is upheld and embedded in every level of operation.

Northern Star Energy Corporation was recognized for its growth and performance during the Shell Reseller Power Up Summit 2026 held on March 11–13, 2026 at the Clark Marriott Hotel, Pampanga. 

The Summit brought together key players in the reseller network for a three-day event focused on alignment, collaboration, and recognition anchored on the theme “Going Full Throttle: Rise Beyond Limits”.  

Under the Indirect Channel Excellence Awards category, Northern Star received the Fuel Oil Plus Performance Highest Absolute Growth in 2025 Award and the 10-Year Milestone Award — citations that highlighted the company’s sustained growth and leadership within the reseller network.  More than just awards, these reflected Northern Star’s relentless pursuit of progress driven by vision, discipline, and purpose. 

Northern Star Energy Corporation affirmed its support of Physicians for Peace Philippines (PFPP) through the grant of a one-year fuel subsidy for its POWER Mobile Van, a “clinic-on-wheels” designed to provide prosthetic and orthotic services directly to underserved communities. The van offers assessment, casting, fitting, adjustment, and repair of assistive devices, aiming to increase access for Filipinos.  

PFPP uses the fuel subsidy to reach various beneficiaries, ensuring timely and reliable transport for medical supplies, doctors, and volunteers. This increased mobility has helped bring quality healthcare services closer to people that need them most.

In line with the International Women’s Day 2026 theme “Give to Gain,” Northern Star Energy Corporation celebrated Women’s Month through a series of inclusive and meaningful activities on March 5, 2026. 

Purple Day began with a relaxing foot spa for female employees, followed by an online word hunt activity featuring words that celebrate women and their contributions. For the main event, the women of Northern Star gathered for games that fostered camaraderie, confidence, and leadership. 

The activities not only brought joy and laughter but also reflected the spirit of “Give to Gain.” Through initiatives like these, Northern Star continues to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in promoting gender equality and building a more inclusive and empowered workplace. 

Northern Star Energy Corporation continued to drive strong performance at the Shell Mobility Retailer Engagement Days 2026 Convention held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom on February 18–19, 2026. 

With the theme ‘Charge Forward’, the event brought together retailers nationwide for two days focused on strategy, alignment, and clear direction for 2026. During the awards night, Northern Star was recognized as TOP DO NTI 2025, underscoring its commitment to performance excellence within the convenience retail network.

Northern Star Energy Corporation officially launched the NStar Portal on February 4, 2026, introducing a secure and centralized platform for employee access to company resources.

The NStar Portal serves as a single hub for news, announcements, events, learning materials, and department-approved documents.

With the portal, Northern Star strengthens internal coordination and enables employees to work more efficiently through organized, reliable access to essential information.
