At the Shell Tumauini Lingaling service station in Isabela, a routine task turned into a moment that powerfully reflects the values upheld by Northern Star Energy Corporation.
While cleaning the station’s comfort room last May 2, 2026, Forecourt Service Champion (FSC) Marinella Batino discovered a black wallet containing ₱10,100 along with the owner’s identification. Recognizing the importance of acting quickly and responsibly, her colleague FSC Jeric Dupo took the initiative to locate the owner. Using the ID as a starting point, he searched on Facebook, successfully made contact, and arranged for the wallet’s safe return.
What could have easily been overlooked became an opportunity to demonstrate honesty, accountability, and care. Their actions went beyond duty — they showed integrity and commitment that reflected Northern Star’s core values.
The incident drew commendation from leadership and across the entire workforce. More than just returning lost property, Marinella and Jeric reinforced a culture of trust and professionalism that defines the Northern Star team.
