The Northern Star Group remains steadfast in its commitment to safety, fostering a workplace culture where preparedness and risk prevention are deeply ingrained. As part of its annual Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) initiatives, the Group recently conducted a series of safety training sessions and emergency drills to strengthen employee readiness and response capabilities.
On February 25-26, NStar employees from the head office and operational sites participated in an Occupational First Aid and Basic Life Support training, including CPR and AED, facilitated by the Philippine Red Cross – Pasig Pateros Rizal Chapter. This two-day session provided intensive, hands-on instruction in life-saving techniques, emphasizing quick, decisive action in medical emergencies.
Continuing its commitment to safety, NStar held its first Annual Fire and Earthquake Drill for 2025 on February 27. Conducted simultaneously across all subsidiaries and operational sites, this critical exercise ensured a standardized and coordinated approach to emergency preparedness throughout the organization.
These rigorous training programs and drills go beyond regulatory compliance—they reflect Northern Star’s unwavering dedication to cultivating a workplace where safety is second nature.
